Syncro Soft Announces New Release of (oXygen/) XML Editor, Schema Editor
and XSLT Debugger.

Syncro Soft Ltd, the producer of (oXygen/) XML Editor, has announced the
immediate availability of Version 6.0 of its XML Editor, Schema Editor and
XSLT Debugger. Version 6.0 of the XML Editor adds as main features Visual
W3C XML Schema Editor, Visual Relax NG Schema Editor, Diff and Merge tool
and the capability of importing data from different data sources including
relational databases and text files.
New in version 6.0:
(oXygen/) XML Editor adds a visual schema editor for W3C XML Schema and
Relax NG schema designed to simplify the development and understanding of
the schema files. The schema diagram is synchronized in real time with the
changes from the document and allows a quick navigation through the schema
structure expanding in place the references to different schema components.
A complete diff and merge solution is available in version 6.0. It offers
both directory and file comparison, 6 different file diff algorithms,
multiple level diff support, nice GUI presentation with synchronized
scrolling and change guide lines, easy invocation of the diff action from
project panel or from the editors contextual menu. The diff algorithms
include two XML diff algorithms (XML Fast and XML Accurate), one Syntax
Aware algorithm that gives very good results on all file types known by
(oXygen/) and three algorithms that rely on the file structure: line based,
word based and character based. Any algorithm can be used to perform
differences on request, but (oXygen/) offers also an automatic selection,
selecting the most appropriate one based on the files content and size.
(oXygen/) 6.0 adds support for importing database content, Microsoft Excel
sheets and legacy text data files(Comma Separated Values for instance) into
XML documents. It is possible to connect to: Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL
Server, MySQL or any other database server that supports JDBC connectivity.
