callas introduces a new version of their font embedding extension
FontIncluder2/XT, suitable for Mac OS X and QuarkXPress 6.x. The tool
embeds fonts in EPS files directly from within QuarkXPress as part of the
“Save Page as EPS.” function. In addition, FontIncluder2/XT works as a
stand alone application. The price for the single user version is 249 EURO,
updates are available for an introductory price of 99 EURO (valid until
31st of August, regular price will be 149 EURO).

callas software launches Command Line Interface (CLI) versions of their
current Acrobat Plug-Ins: pdfCorrect and pdfColorConvert are now available
as stand-alone applications – as well as pdfInspektor3, which has recently
been licensed by Adobe as preflight module for Acrobat 7. pdfCorrect CLI,
pdfColorConvert CLI and pdfInspektor3 CLI offer the same range of
functionality like the Plug-In versions, but do not require Adobe Acrobat.
They have especially been designed to be integrated into inhouse production
environments, web services or other software solutions.
