DssW launches Energy Schedule – free Mac OS X Dashboard widget

UK, Europe – 6 March, 2006 – DssW, the leading developer of Mac energy
saving software, today released Energy Schedule 1.0 for Mac OS X. Energy
Schedule reveals the computer’s queued power events. Software applications
use power events to aid automation and schedule changes in the computer’s
power state; such as waking from sleep or switching off.

DssW is passionate about teaching users how to save time and energy.
Through this free widget we help publicise a great energy saving feature
available to all Mac users.

Energy Schedule is a cute Dashboard widget for Mac OS X. The widget’s front
is a small disc showing a summary of the next event. Users wanting more can
click a button to flip Energy Schedule over to reveal all the pending
events.

The widget shows the due time, event, and who scheduled the event.

Most Mac users are not aware of their computer’s hidden potential to save
energy.

The number of users Energy Schedule can help is surprisingly high; a lot of
applications quietly schedule power events to ensure they are available to
do their thing; be it record television shows, stream radio content, or
save energy.
