Southwest Airlines has released a Mac OS X version of Ding, its Dock-based travel utility, notes MacCentral. “Ding is a specially designed tool that brings live updates of southwest.com offers directly to your desktop, allowing you to get a jump on the latest southwest.com sales,” notes the airline. “In addition, the Ding application provides quick and easy access to popular southwest.com Travel Tools like Online Checkin and Flight Status.” Ding requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and is available free of charge.
