iStopMotion 1.10
Munich, Germany – June 1st, 2006. With iStopMotion 1.10, the latest release
of the popular stop motion and time lapse tool, the animator can remotely
control the application using the Apple Remote that comes with the latest
Macs. For users of the HR version, being able to capture an arbitrary
number of frames at once means more comfort.
Apple Remote
Using the Apple Remote the animator comfortably controls the application
without leaving his workstation. Pressing the Menu button on the remote
captures a frame, the Play button replays and pauses the movie for you to
check the animation, Left and Right button navigate the movie back and
forth. Holding the Left or Right buttons jumps to the beginning or end of
the clip.
Grabbing X frames
For users of the HR version, grabbing multiple frames has become more
comfortable: the keys “1” to “0” on the keypad now capture the respective
number of frames. If you want to capture 10 frames, you simply press the
“0”. Pressing “*” on the keypad brings up a dialog box that lets you enter
any number of frames up to 1000 to be captured at once.

The Boinx iStopMotion 1.10.1 update is available for download immediately
from the website (http://www.istopmotion.com/). The update is free for all
current owners of a valid iStopMotion 1.x license. New license keys are on
sale via Kagi for US $39.95 for the DV version and US $349 for the HR
version. A five day demo license for evaluation can be requested at the
website.
