Version 3.7.4 is the latest maintenance update to Cocktail that
contains over fifty bugfixes and a lot of code improvements:
– Fixed a bug causing problems with secure deletion of temporary files
– Fixed a bug causing miscellaneous problems for users with wrong
permissions set on /Library folder
– Fixed a potential bug causing memory leaks when writing data to
ejectable disks
– Fixed a potential AS (-1728) error on Intel Macs
– Fixed compatibility issues with QuickTime 7.1.3 and iTunes 7.0.2
– Address an issue in which Cocktail may crash when enabling network
optimization settings
– Address an issue in which network volumes may appear in the lists of disks
– Address an issue in which the Delete DS Store Files action may
cause Automator to crash
– Addresses an issue in which Cocktail may stop responding when
cleaning virtual memory swap files
– Addresses an issue in which users may have to reenter the
registration information
– Addresses an issue in which Little Snitch may cause long startup times
– Ownership settings and permissions of various directories are now
automatically verified and corrected
– Improvements to the File System Browser
– Other minor bug fixes and improvements
