of Macintosh Technology, announced today that it has implemented a new
community search mechanism to yield better search results across the entire
Mac technical community.
Initial use has shown that results can be substantially better better
focused, higher quality and more relevant to Mac technical user. For
example, a search for “degraded RAID” yields 392,000 results across the web
on a general search, but with MacTech’s Community Search, only the most
relevant 68 results come up — allowing users to hone in much more quickly
on the information they are looking for.
