Charismac today announced their reliable Storage Area Networking (SAN) software FibreShare 3.0 is shipping. Version 3.0 now works with Intel-based Macs. The FibreShare volume management software manages multiple SAN users with the ability to share volumes between Intel and Power PC systems. It comes complete with all the Intel-native tools necessary for installation, including the award-winning Charismac RAID utilities allowing users to set up a SAN using single disk drives or multi-disk arrays including Hardware RAID Controllers. FibreShare 3.0 also comes with a comprehensive benchmarking tool in order to test storage devices on the SAN. FibreShare 3.0 carries a suggested retail price of US$1,249 per network seat.
