Second Gear, an Indiana-based software development firm, and The Pixel Implosion, a Denver-based design firm, jointly released PocketTweets today. PocketTweets is a Twitter client developed exclusively for Apple’s iPhone. Twitter is the social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send updates via SMS, the Web or third-party applications. PocketTweets harnesses the power of the Twitter API and wraps it in an interface designed exclusively for the iPhone. PocketTweets is available free, but donations are being accepted to fund future development and offset hosting costs.
