DiscLabel 5.0 Features High Quality Clip Art Library
San Francisco, CA – November 14, 2007 – SmileOnMyMac released
DiscLabel 5.0, the latest version of its award-winning CD/DVD label
design software for Mac OS X. This major upgrade features a new clip
art library, as well as enhanced layer effects and additional
templates.
A fully-functional demo version is available at
http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/download.html.
The new clip art library offers more than 1300 items that are accessed
via a special clip art browser. The clip art is tagged with keywords
that can be searched using the built-in Spotlight module. The clip art
files come from the Open Clip Art Library, an archive of more than
7000 user-contributed images that can be freely used. Users can
download additional artwork from the Open Clip Art Library and access
it via DiscLabel’s clip art browser. For more information about the
Open Clip Art Library project, visit http://www.openclipart.org.
DiscLabel 5.0 features other enhancements, including additional
templates and simplified image import. Layer effects now allow all
objects, including text, to have special graphical effects applied to
them.
The release comes in time for the holiday season. “If you like to make
personalized CDs and DVDs as holiday gifts, DiscLabel can give the
labels and packaging a special touch,” said Philip Goward, co-founder
of SmileOnMyMac.
