eMedia Music Corp. (http://www.emediamusic.com) and iZotope have
announced an agreement for eMedia to distribute iZotope’s new iDrum
1.7 Virtual Drum Machine software. Version 1.7 is a customizable,
expandable virtual drum machine. It includes an enormous sound
library and allows you to add your own sounds.
iDrum can be used on its own or with GarageBand, Logic, Abelton Live,
Pro Tools, SONAR, Cubase, Digital Performer and other host programs.
New for version 1.7 of iDrum is the ability to create rhythms in
different time signatures — 4/4, 3/4, 5/4, 6/8, 9/8 and beyond. You
can even share your sounds and beats with iDrum Editions for iPhone
and iPod touch.
iDrum 1.7 will be released in October and be available at computer
and music retail stores nationwide at an estimated retail price of
US$59.95. The CD-ROM is a hybrid for both Mac OS X (10.4 or later)
and Windows (XP/Vista).
