accessories: the LaCie CurrenKey, FlatCables, and PCI Cards.They’re
designed for connectivity and portable storage.
CurrenKey fits in your pocket or coin purse. CurrenKeys are USB 2.0
drives that resemble contemporary coinage. Prices start at US$24.95.
LaCie Flat Cables bring functional improvements along with a new look
to the ubiquitous computer cable. They’re available for three types
of USB interfaces as well as two types of FireWire (400 and 800) and
eSATA connectors. Pricing starts at $9.99.
LaCie’s new line of PCI Cards consists of a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 card
with four ports, an eSATA 1.5Gbits card with two ports and RAID 0/1
support, a FireWire 400 card with three ports, a FireWire 800 card
with three ports and a Combo USB 2.0 / FireWire card with three
Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, one FireWire 400 port, and one FireWire 800
port. The LaCie PCI Cards, Design by Sismo, will be available in
November through the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Reseller+ or LaCie
Storage Partners with pricing from $19.99 to $99.
