Rogue Amoeba is offering a public preview of their newest
application, Pulsar (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/pulsar/), a Mac OS X
desktop client for listening to both XM Radio Online and SIRIUS
Internet Radio, the internet streaming services provided by XM and
SIRIUS satellite radio. With Pulsar, satellite radio subscribers can
get their audio on the Mac with no hardware or web browser required.

Also, for a limited time, many existing and future Rogue Amoeba
customers are eligible to receive a license key for Pulsar free. The
software is designed to work with both Airfoil and Audio Hijack Pro
from Rogue Amoeba

Pulsar sports constantly updated listings showing stations and “now
playing” info. YOu can save a Favorites list for quick access to
favorite stations.

Pulsar requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. The pulsar public preview is
immediately available for download, with a fully-functional free
trial. While in trial mode, the quality of audio played by Pulsar
will degrade after 20 minutes.

XM Radio Online and SIRIUS Internet Radio each require a
subscription, for US$7.99 and $12.99 a month respectively. Free
three-day trials for either of these services are available, with
more details available here.

A license for Pulsar can be purchased in Rogue Amoeba’s online store
for an introductory price of $15. This license will be valid for the
Public Preview and Pulsar 1.0. For a limited time, a complimentary
Pulsar license can be obtained with the purchase of any current Rogue
Amoeba product for Mac OS X. Both new and existing users of Rogue
Amoeba products can obtain their complimentary license through the
Rogue Amoeba Store.
