JAZ Games (http://www.jazgames.com) has released Sounds of Adventure,
a new game for the iPhone and iPod touch. It uses the built-in
accelerometer on the devices to create a mix of sounds — crack a
whip, wield a laser sword, or snap nunchucks with a flick of the
wrist.
Here’s how the game is described: “Once you have chosen your genre,
choose your weapon. With a number of weapons and gear to choose
from, you can don a Fedora and crack your whip, wield a laser sword,
jump on your trusty gelding and gallop across the high plains firing
your six-gun at fleeing bandits, or use your lightning-like fists and
kicks to let your buddies know you are indeed “The Kung Fu
Master.” To engage the sounds, simply swing the phone from side to
side, or up and down likes the weapon of your choice to make the
sounds come alive.”
