Vonage
(http://www.vonage.com/lp/US/vonagepro/?gclid=CM7F7q7XrJkCFR2dnAod2HPOJg)
launched a Mac compatible version of Vonage Pro — a digital
extension of the Vonage phone service, featuring five components that
let users take their home phone number anywhere they go on their
laptop.

Vonage Companion allows Mac users to tap their Vonage home phone
number while they’re on the go. Customers can even use their Mac’s
built-in speakers and microphone, and can benefit from features such
as selective call block, conference calling, personalized ringtones
and call recording. When traveling, users can call from their laptop
to anywhere in the U.S. at no additional cost, and also call
internationally for as low as one-cent per minute, according to the
folks at Vonage.

Vonage Pro also includes: unlimited Vonage Residential Digital Voice
service; 25 free directory assistance calls monthly; 25 free Vonage
Visual Voicemail messages monthly; and automatic integration of all
home, desktop and mobile contacts into the Vonage Contact Center
(note: Vonage Contact Center is currently available to Vonage
customers at no extra charge.) Vonage Pro, part of Vonage’s
Residential Premium Unlimited Plan, is available at the monthly rate
of US$34.99 (plus taxes and fees).
