Speck (http:// www.SpeckProducts.com) has introduced updated versions
of its SeeThru and soft-touch SeeThru Satin hard shell cases to
address recent Apple design changes in both the 13-inch and 15-inch
MacBook products released earlier this month. The updated cases also
fit previous editions of MacBook and MacBook Pro aluminum unibody
models originally launched in October 2008.
SeeThru is a translucent two-piece form-fit hard shell case designed
to protect a laptop from scrapes and scratches. The SeeThru Satin
offers the same hard shell protection as the SeeThru, but also
features a soft-touch outer finish that gives the new unibody MacBook
Pro a semi-translucent frosted appearance that slips in and out of a
bag or backpack, all the while retaining a grippy edge.
The hard shells offer complete access to all ports, controls and
functions, including the battery status check button, without the
need to remove the case. Both SeeThru and SeeThru Satin hard shell
cases are available for US$49.95.
