Vicomsoft (http://www.vicomsoft.com) has released InterGate Policy
Manager 9.3, an update to their server based web filter, app filter
and network monitoring tool for Mac OS X. InterGate Policy Manager is
now Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”) compatible and also available for
purchase via the eSellerate system.
The software provides a granular level of filtering for web content,
peer to peer, telephony and instant messaging apps, comprehensive
logging and more. It’s centrally managed, so requires no client
computer software. It can be integrated into any existing network
with little or no configuration changes.
InterGate Policy Manager requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. It’s
Universal Binary, so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
