updatedPooch (Parallel OperatiOn and Control Heuristic application)
and Pooch Pro clustering software to version 1.8. The upgrade is
ready for Mac OS X 10.6 (“Snow Leopard”).
Updates are shipping to Pooch users whose subscriptions are active.
The new Pooch also ships with the Pooch QuickTime Exporter for video
compression on Mac clusters.
For new users Pooch 1.8 is available for US$175 for the first compute
node, then $125 for each node thereafter. Pooch Pro 1.8 is available
for $200 for the first compute node, then $150 for each node
thereafter. Pooch requires networked Macs and/or Xserves running Mac
OS X 10.2 or later, and/or Mac OS X Server 10.2 or later.
