Macworld 2010 will purportedly host the largest face-to-face viewing of applications for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch devices, IDG World Expo, owner of Macworld 2010, has announced.

Attendees at Macworld 2010 will be able to test-drive over 100 of the hottest apps and connect directly with the app developers at the Mobile Application Showcase, featuring companies such as TomTom, Tap 11, Bing, BeeJive, Square and many more. Additionally, both attendees and developers will be able to learn about developing and marketing their own apps at a series of iPhone-dedicated training sessions.

In addition to the largest collection of mobile apps, Macworld 2010 will offer training opportunities exclusively related to the iPhone and iPod touch.

Macworld Expo 2010 (http://www.macworldexpo.com) will take place Feb. 9-13, 2010, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
