MacPractice (http://www.macpractice.com) — an Apple developer of practice management and clinical software for medical, dental, chiropractic, and optometry offices — will demonstrate MacPractice 3.7 at this week’s MacWorld Expo.
MacPractice MD, MacPractice DC, and MacPractice 20/20 with MacPractice EMR 3.7 are the newest releases of the Mac practice management and clinical software for physicians, chiropractors and eye doctors. Clinical staff can create lab requisitions and track results with a new Lab Ability. A new Clinical Ledger displays all clinical data from within MacPractice EMR. MacPractice integrates with MacPACS and MacRIS, solutions developed for radiologists, orthopedic and cardiothoracic surgeons, and other specialists that rely upon medical imaging.
MacPractice DDS 3.7 with MacPractice DR (Digital Radiography/Photo) is the newest release of the leading Mac dental practice management and clinical software. MacPractice DDS features restorative and periodontal charting integrated with MacPractice DR to associate images and notes with a tooth.
First-time Mac-native digital radiography solutions have been developed by MacPractice for SuniRay and Planmeca sensors, a new wireless XPod sensor, and panoramic and cephalometric imaging equipment. Intraoral cameras also work with MacPractice DR. Physicians, dentists, chiropractors and eye doctors, can dictate directly into MacPractice Note and MacPractice EMR (EDR, Electronic Dental Record for dentists) using MacSpeech Dictate Medical.
MacPractice will demonstrate version 3.7 at Macworld in booth #748, at HIMSS in booth #3151 and at Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting in booth #2723.
