FeedHenry (http://www.feedhenry.com), a cloud-based platform-as-a-service solution for cross-platform apps, has announced that its Hosted Development Environment enables users to build and run the same application across the iPhone, iPod touch, iPadAndroid, Symbian and Blackberry smartphones, and also across web and social media sites including Facebook and MySpace.
FeedHenry provides a platform-as-a-service (PaaS), one-stop shop to build, deploy and operate applications that look and perform consistently across different devices, according to the folks at FeedHenry. Developers of iPhone and iPad applications now have a technology baked into their apps that will enable them to react quickly to changing market demands and reuse apps for multiple devices, they add.
FeedHenry’s solution is built on a cloud-based application-hosting environment. It purportedly provides productivity benefits because developers don’t have to reconfigure databases and servers. Development can be performed online with no set-up and installation, which cuts down on operational procedures. Application analytics are directly integrated into the online interface.
FeedHenry has joined forces with AskMoby to launch an interactive weather application that offers users custom weather reports. It’s available, not only as a mobile application for iPhone, iPad and for Vodafone 360, but also as a social web application.
