Gamestreamer (http://www.gamestreamer.com), a digital distribution platform, says that their technology now supports sales and delivery of Mac games. Merscom Games, PlayFirst, Layernet and National Geographic provided the initial titles to GameStreamer for distribution using the new technology.
GameStreamer will be adding more Mac game publishers and titles over the next couple of months as the service moves into a full production rollout, says Timothy Roberts, CEO and co-founder of GameStreamer. Mac games are available on the GameStreamer showcase store, pcgamestore.com as well as select partner stores powered by the GameStreamer platform. GameStreamer now offers over 2,200 games from more than 200 games publishers and is launching a number of new, high traffic distribution partner sites this quarter as the company exits its public beta.
