DVDxDV Pro (http://www.dvdxdv.com) has been updated to version 2.1, which fixes some glitches introduced in version 2.1. The upgrade converts standard definition DVDs into high definition 1080i video suitable for use in Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and iMovie HD.
Version 2.0 added direct export from DVD to Apple TV. Used in the television and film industry, DVDxDV Pro converts DVD to high quality Quicktime movies for editing in Final Cut Pro, Avid, iMovie, and more. In addition to the Apple TV, DVDxDV Pro version will convert DVD video directly to the 5G (video enabled) iPod and the iPhone. The software costs US$80; version 2.1 is a free update for registered users of version 2.x.
