South Korea’s telecommunications regulator said Tuesday it has given Apple approval to start the sale of its latest smartphone, the iPhone 4 in the country, reports the “Wall Street Journal” (http://macosg.me/2/n0).
KT Corp., the country’s biggest telecom operator, which has an exclusive contract to offer iPhones in South Korea, said it may be as much as two months before the company can offer the device to its customers. The government’s approval is just a regular procedure and it normally takes about one or two months to talk about business matters before launching, according to the “Journal.”
