Graebert GmbH (http://www.graebert.com) has released ARES Commander Edition 1.0, a new solution for 2D and 3D CAD that runs on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux systems. It offers full native cross-platform support on all three operating systems.
Also, mobile support is planned for support for Windows Mobile and, possibly, the iPad and Android. It’s available at an introductory price of US$495 through the end of September, a 50% discount from the regular price of $995.
ARES uses a common design interface and is purportedly the first CAD solution to run natively across Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It’s been optimized for specific operating system features and capabilities.
