According to a survey in the UK, almost a quarter of children have put an Apple product at the top of their Christmas list, reports the “Telegraph” (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/8084305/Children-want-gadgets-not-toys-for-Christmas.html). The survey, by battery manufacturer Duracell, polled over 2,000 kids and found that top “toy” on the wishlist was an iPhone 4.

Approximately 39% of children quizzed wanted Apple gadgets this year, with 17% of five to eight- year-olds, 50% of nine to 12-year-olds and 66% of 13 to 16-year-olds all putting Apple items — including iPads and iPod touches — at the top of their lists. The top 10 toys for Christmas 2010, according to the report are:
