CleverFiles (http://www.cleverfiles.com) has updated their new data recovery software for Mac OS, Disk Drill. The new release (version 1.0.55) features fixes that help you recover your data faster, more effectively, with much better results, according to J. Press of CleverFiles.
Specifically, these changes were applied to Recovery Vault, the brand-new technology developed by CleverFiles to improve data recovery from HFS/HFS+ Mac file systems. Now Disk Drill has better understanding with Mac´s feature to empty trash securely. Also, version 1.0.55 correctly detects USB media and boasts many other graphical user interface and low-core updates.
Disk Drill is compatible with any PowerPC or Intel Mac running Mac OS X 10.5 or newer and is 64-bit ready. Currently it’s in beta testing and is being offered for free. Just remember: beta software is unfinished software, so use with care.
