Also launching is the $2.99 PBS Antiques Roadshow game app, available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, which lets players virtually collect, appraise and bid on real antiques with new collectibles from different cities added regularly.
Codeminion has debuted Saqqarah HD Lite, a free version of Ancient Quest of Saqqarah for the iPad. Retaining the full version’s graphics and sound effects, Saqqarah HD Lite features 27 levels grouped in three temples. Saqqarah HD Lite is a match-3 game.
Conshohocken Physical Therapy and Blue Whale Web Solution have unveiled Motion Doctor 1.0, a physical therapy iPad app aimed at injury and pain prevention. The $14.99 app contains over 60 videos that serve as a reference of exercises categorized by body part, activity, sport and occupation. It can also be used by physical therapists as a reference tool, showing patients how to properly perform exercises at home.
The Atomic Bomb comes to the iPad with an $9.99 app based on the book entitled “How To Photograph an Atomic Bomb.” The app features high resolution videos that can be played back and forth by the user to see what happens frame by frame during the explosion of an atomic bomb.
Stuck in Your Seat: Stress Buster and Travel Planner is now available at the Apple App Store. The $1.99 app provides exercises specifically designed to be done while trapped in your seat. It also provides a place to store all of your travel information.
Taxsoftware.com says their app for six of the most often used 2010 federal tax returns is now available on the iPad. The forms can be completed entirely on the Apple tablets and transferred to Macs or PCs. The app for the 2010 tax year version of Form 1040 return includes most forms and schedules needed to prepare tax returns. Paid preparers must be registered with IRS and have an EFIN, a PTIN and an IRS E-services account. All business forms include depreciation of up to 10 assets and the use of one vehicle for business. The app includes unlimited tax preparation and printing. There is an e-filing charge of $4 for an iPad 1040 and a $15 fee for any iPad business return (1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S and 1099-MISC.).

Fantasy Trader 1.2 for iOS offers sports fans the chance to buy and own shares of athletes. Rahul Patel dreamed up a single platform where athletes from all sports can be owned and traded using virtual currency, and the concept will finally come to fruition with the launch of Fantasy Trader ($4.99). The shares are also delineated with ticker symbols, just like real stocks. So golfer Tiger Woods will have shares with ticker “TW” when issued.
Summit Island has announced Dungeons & Such 2.0.2 for iOS, an update to their $2.99 dungeon RPG for casual gameplay. In the tradition of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, it features simple, one-handed play, frequent saves for short gameplay, and an imaginative storyline replete with dungeons, battles, and warriors. The game includes Facebook integration so the player can hire their friends’ characters to fight in the dungeon. Also supported are Apple Game Center, Leaderboards and Achievements.

Pirate Monkey Studios has rolled out Speedy Biker 1.2, an upgrade to the physics-based 2D motocross game for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. In the $0.99 app, you play against the computer, or challenge a friend with real-time head-to-head over Bluetooth or separately in challenge mode. Version 1.2 adds four tracks in Lombardy, Shanghai, Sonora, and Paris, bringing the total tracks to 14. The game’s control schemes have also been expanded.
Nemo Games has updated Atlantis Invaders for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to version 1.1. In the game, the underwater city of Atlantis is under aerial attack by the deadly Gordon fleet. It’s your job to save the day by manning three, fixed defense turrets in a bid to knock the enemy fighters out of the sky before they can lay waste to your city with their horrible death ray. Atlantis was a famous game published by Imagic in the 1980s. Atlantis Invaders 1.1 is on sale at 50% off ($0.99) for a limited time.
