Apple has topped “Barron’s” list of the “Most Respected Companies” (http://macte.ch/l3Oah) for the second time. The list is based a survey of professional money managers.
Per the survey, 68% of managers said they “highly respected” Apple, 22% respected the company, 8% respected Apple “somewhat” and none admitted that they “don’t respect” the company. Apple had a mean score of 4.25 out of 5.
The other companies on the “Most Respected List” are, in descending order, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, IBM, McDonald’s, Google, 3M, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Proctor & Gamble, ExxonMobile, Walt Disney, United Parcel Service, JP Morgan Chase, Cisco Systems, United Technologies, Intel, Wal-Mart, Nestle, Schlumberberger, Siemens, Microsoft, Honda Motor, Novartis and Johnson & Johnson.
