Best Buy is considering distributing iPad 2s to every salesperson in its 1,000-plus chain, reports “The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal” (http://macte.ch/l1vH8).

The retailer has given out iPads and other mobile devices to sales employees on a limited basis before, but only in a couple of dozen stores, the article adds. The idea is part of its “Connected Store” format. That format “is modeled on Apple’s high-touch retail stores, where salespeople often use such devices to process orders and customers get a lot of hands-on time with the iPads, iPhones and other products,” according to The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.”
