Apple has reportedly lured two PR executives from Nintendo and Activision in a continued push to establish iOS as a dominant gaming platform, says “MCV” (http://macte.ch/lJGVH), which says that former Nintendo UK head of communications Robert Saunders will leave his position at the end of April for a “newly created role at Apple.” He will reportedly be focused on PR for iPad, iPod and iPhone apps.

“MCV” also says (http://macte.ch/ZBozD) Apple has also lured Activision’s Nick Grange to their fold. Grange’s appointment is yet to be officially confirmed, but “MCV” says he will be joining the company in a role focussed on iPad hardware.

Grange has had a stellar career in the games market, the article adds. Following spells at Electronic Arts and Microsoft, he joined Activision in 2007. He is currently the publisher’s European PR director.
