Whoopee Games has introduced Molecular Deuce X 1.0 (http://macte.ch/vPP6Y), a puzzle game for Mac OS X 10.6.6 or higher. It costs US$4.99 and is available at the Mac App Store in the Games category.
Using the mouse, the player has to slide atoms around a screen in an attempt to build a molecule in as few moves as possible and as fast as possible. Each level has a unique playing field and a target molecule that the player has to put back together. Molecular Deuce X features 60 levels.
The player can only start an atom moving, either horizontally or vertically, and it won’t stop until it hits a wall or another atom. As the player progresses through the levels they get tougher and the player will have to take a more strategic approach, such moving an atom for the sole purpose of controlling where another atom will stop.
