Paul Solt has announced Wallpaper Evolution for iOS, an US$0.99 app designed to showcase original abstract and psychedelic wallpapers in addition to personal photos. The app features a wooden coffee table where images slide onto the table for multi-touch interaction. Users can tap, flick, zoom, and rotate the images in any configuration.

iGotIt Games has released Colorflys SD 1.0, a butterfly capture experience for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. The iPhone/iPod touch version is $0.99, while the iPad version costs $1.99.

Pixite has introduced PhotoFresh, a $1.99 Facebook sharing app for the iPad. It offers a way to view, upload, and share Facebook photos and videos. PhotoFresh focuses on the users’ photos and videos and includes features such as navigation, photo caching, and slideshow options.

Felix Mo has unveiled Locational 1.0, a location-aware and sharing app for iOS. The $1.99 app allows users to manage all of their locational information. Users can obtain and share detailed information on their current location, such as the full address, the coordinates, the heading and direction, the speed at which they are traveling, as well as the altitude of their location.

Polar Bear Farm has unleashed Air Forms 1.0, a database tool for iPad devices. Built from the ground up specifically for Apple’s iOS platform, the $99.99 app enables businesses and individuals to create interactive interfaces with a native look and feel into their data without writing code.

James Hollender has served up new versions of his eight nutrient apps for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad: Vitamin K, iCarbs, iProteins, iCholesterol, iFiber, iSatFat, iSugars & iCals. New database capability allows for keeping track of the user’s personal nutrient intake. Each app allows users to determine nutrient quantity in hundreds of different food servings, with information derived from the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. The apps are $1.99 each.

Doodle Kart Multiplay has driven into the Apple App Store with Doodle Kart, a $0.99 top down driving game. The racer features stationary-related weapons to fire at your opponents during several cups and championships. There’s also a free, featured-limited, “lite” version.

Alan Mascord Design Associates has published Mascord Living Spaces 1.0, a magazine app for the iPad. It’s free and includes feature articles, slideshows, video, and 360 degree revolving renderings for new home designs. Mascord Living Spaces also includes a menu system featuring an interactive table of contents, page thumbnails, and a story view.

Heidi Wittlinger & Shape Minds have developed a bedtime app for the iPhone, Nighty Night! The $0.99 book is read by actor Alistair Findlay.

Cyril Godefroy has updated Meta Editor, a metadata editor for the iPad, to version 3.0. Designed for professional photographers, the $14.99 app offers tools to mass edit the meta information of IPTC fields directly on the Apple tablet before sending pictures to an agency by FTP, uploading to Flickr, or sharing with their computer later.

ZooLu has announced Ring Reminder 2.0, an update to their $0.99 mode alarm for iOS. It has 10 slots to create a variety of custom timer alarms when you need to put the iPhone in silent mode. Start the timer, and it will vibrate after your meeting, church or lunch time. Version 2.0 includes a face lift to Ring Reminder with a new theme and a Nag Feature that checks the state of the ring switch and continues to remind you to turn the iPhone back to ring mode.

As part of an update to the FitnessBuilder app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, PumpOne announced its new FitnessBuilder PT tool is now available for physical, occupational and orthopedic therapists, as well as medical professionals. Available via in-app purchase, this extension to FitnessBuilder is a mobile tool for in-office planning/tracking and at-home extended care for patients and clients. The FitnessBuilder App is available for $9.99 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The FitnessBuilder PT tool is available for $39.99 (one month) or $299.99 (12 months) through in-app purchase.

Gormaya has updated Substitutions, their cooking app for iOS devices, to version 2.0. The $1.99 app features a list of substitution tables that are handy when cooking. You can vview tables of Baking & Cooking, Dairy, Gluten-Free, Seafood & Meat, and more. Now with nearly 400 substitutions, version 2.0 has been enhanced with a new index with additional substitutions, as well as adds an index of all substitutions.
