Applications for Life Company has released Box Shot 3D 3.3.2, an update to their utility that makes “shots” of 3D shapes. It’s compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 and higher.

Using ray-tracing rendering technology, Box Shot 3D allows you to render software boxes, book covers, magazines, CD, DVD and Blu-Ray boxes, cans, bottles, mugs, bags and more. Version 3.3.2 fixes some batch-rendering issues and allows you to put several objects to a scene.

Now it’s possible to render a book and CD, a set of boxes, different books in a stack and more. The upgrade is free for current customers. For new customers, Box Shot 3D costs US$80. A demo is available at the Applications For Life web site (http://www.boxshot3d.com).
