Rainmaker Research (http://www.rainmakerinc.com/) has released Spell Catcher X 10.4, an upgrade to the collection of writing productivity tool for Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.
Spell Catcher checks spelling in up to 16 languages. It also offers shorthands, thesaurus lookup features and more. Version 10.4 adds MobileMe syncing, updated linguistics, user interface improvements, and other new features and enhancements.
Version 10.4 is a free upgrade for those that purchased on or after May 1, 2010. For other registered users, the cost is US$14.95.
Spell Catcher X retails for $39.95. A “lite” license for Spell Catcher X is available for $29.95 and excludes some advanced features. Spell Catcher X users can purchase language plug-ins for Dutch, Canadian English, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Russian and Norwegian Bokmal for an additional $10 each.
