EmirBytes has released Label Dispenser 1.0, its new photo labeling solution for iOS devices. The US$0.99 app was developed specifically for photographers and hobbyists to label their photos. It offers controls for manipulating the label’s position, size and angle. Users can customize the label, in terms of the background “tape” designs, font face and font colors.
GoalMine has announced Text Master for iPhone and iPod touch, a typing tutor. The $0.99 app is designed for those “who feel that their typing skills could use some help but who are bored with regular typing teacher apps.”
Intersog has introduced Get Directions Pro for the iPad in addition to its recent launch for the iPhone and iPod touch. Th $1.99 app allows users to share their personal Google Maps and directions with their friends and family. It lets you share your route information and visual driving directions with the click of a button via Dropbox, email, Facebook, or Twitter.
Chinh Nguyen has unveiled Cosmic Ball, a 3D sport game for iPhone, iPod and iPad, Cosmic Ball. The $0.99 app is similar to basketball, but instead of player touching and throwing ball into the net, a ball is dropped randomly once from the air. Player needs to tilt the device to catch the ball and make it bounce from a special base into one of the two nets.
9magnets has debuted Hero Defense Redux 1.0 for iOS. In the free game, you battle tyrannical dwarfs, rebuild defense towers, and learn new spells in a quest to save your castle.
Nevosoft has rolled out Zzed for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a space puzzle shooter. Zzed for the iPhone/iPod touch is $2.99; the iPad version costs $4.99.
Avid has served up its first application for the iPad: Avid Scorch, which lets users practice, perform and purchase their favorite sheet music on the go. Avid Scorch transforms an iPad into an interactive score library, music stand and sheet music store. It is available for $4.99 through July 30; on July 31, the price goes up to $7.99.
