JixiPix (http://www.jixipix.com/) has introduced Simply HDR 1.0, a photography app for Mac OS X. It normally costs US$7.99, but is being offered at a launch special of $5.99 through June 18.
Designed for both professional and amateur photographers, Simply HDR creates High Dynamic Range photos out of a single shot. A typical workflow requires the photographer to take three shots and combine them. Simply HDR does this process with only one image, according to the folks at JixiPix.
The software includes five styles of effect: High Dynamic Range; Black and White HDR; Contrasted HDR; Shadows and Lights; and Contrasted Light. Simply HDR requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later. It’s available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Photography category.
