Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection equipment, has introduced two new ECO-Surge Suppressors (models TLP74TG and TLP78TUSBG) with timer-controlled outlet banks.
Designed for corporate and home office use, these new surge suppressors feature two separate outlet banks, enabling users to set the exact time at which devices are turned on and off, based on time of day and day of the week. Timer-controlled outlets reduce phantom loads by cutting AC power to unused peripherals, according to the folks at Tripp Lite.
The ECO-Surge Suppressors sport two separate banks of programmable outlets with 20 timer options. They have seven outlets with one designated transformer outlet.
