Vortimac Software has released Memoir 2.0, an update to their personal journal for Mac OS X. The new version sports a tweaked interface that allows users to focus on writing and offers an organizational system that allows users to organize their journal via folders, an integrated calendar, or both.
Memoir 2 also adds an integrated calendar. What’s more, when something is misplaced, an integrated live search feature allows users to locate the info.
Memoir 2 features 128-bit encryption, live search, import and export, as well as other unique features such as wiki-links and inter-entry linking. A demo is available from the Vortimac Software web site (http://www.vortimac.com/memoir/).
Memoir 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. It can be purchased for US$7.99 via Vortimac’s website or in the Mac App Store.
