Intrepidus Group, a provider of information security consulting services, has partnered with the SANS Institute — a source for computer security training, certification and research — to deliver courses on secure mobile applications development.
The courses, which will be available starting Dec. 15, will educate developers, managers and testers on the security threats and mitigations unique to iOS mobile applications. The courses cover techniques to prevent information leakage, protect against unsafe serialization formats and custom URL implementations, and user impersonation vulnerabilities. In addition, attendees will address the impact of “jailbreaking” on applications and how apps may best react to it.
