XtremeMac (http://www.xtrememac.com) has announced the Microshield SC and Microshield SCL cases for the iPad 2. Designed to match and work with Apple’s Smart Covers for the tablet, the cases provide protection while allowing access to all switches, jacks and the rear camera.
The Microshield SC is a thin impact-resistant case that shields iPad 2’s aluminum back from scratches, dust and dirt. The soft, satin surface provides added grip while allowing access to all controls. The Microshield SC case can be used by itself or work with the Apple Smart cover. It costs US$34.99 and is available in clear, black, blue, pink and grey.
The Microshield SCL is a leather case designed specifically to complement the Leather Smart Cover for protection in leather of the iPad 2’s aluminum back. The case colors are designed to pair with Apple’s leather designed Smart Covers. The Microshield SCL costs $69.99 and is available in cream, black, navy, tan and red.
