Guardians: The Last Day of The Citadel — the arcade game for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch — can now be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store in the Lite version. Guardians Lite allows to play a level created specifically by the developers to show to the players the exact game mechanics, such as jumps, slides, swords, duels, and enemies.

Panorama Concepts has announced Classique Camera 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. With the US$0.99 app, you can create retro images and films with lens/filters such as Classic, Rosa, Hippie, Gothic, Blues, Sunset, Disco and more.

CultStory has released PhotoCal 1.0 for iOS devices. The photography app analyzes metadata of the photos automatically, and rearranges all of them on an iPhone by date. PhotoCal provides three different viewmodes, including a photo thumbnail view with date section bar, a monthly grouped mode and calendar mode. PhotoCal is available in a free, ad-supported version or a $0.99 version with no ads.

Vetri Holdings has introduced uGreet Pro 1.0 for iOS devices. It’s a $1.99 e-greeting card that you can share on Facebook or send via email. You can use 26 templates or create your own.

Prosoft Engineering has launched PictureParty for iOS devices. It turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a picture frame that expresses emotion and tells a story with the themed frames and music. PictureParty is available in three different versions — Holidays, Milestones and Travel — which are $1.99 each.

Thinking Drone has debuted SmileClick 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad 2 users. The $0.99 app uses proprietary facial recognition software to detect how big a photo subject is smiling. Once the app determines that the person to be photographed is sporting a genuine smile, it snaps the picture.

Cherry Lane Music has presented their second iPad app, Classical Guitar: Bach! The $4.99 app provides a celebration of Bach’s life with help from the Bach Museum in Leipzig, Germany. It opens with a music box effect and allows you to enjoy an interactive look at the history of Bach’s life and his contributions to music while you listen to the guitar pieces you will later learn.

Developed by See Here Studios, The Snow Globes 3D! iPad activity book ($2.99) features illustrated interactive snow globe scenes tied together through an open-ended holiday storyline. The book travels from New York City to a quiet winter forest, from a magic gingerbread house to Santa’s North Pole. Readers can touch characters to watch them spring to life and tilt the iPad to make snowflakes swirl around the screen.

Mochiviva has grown A Giant Radish 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. It’s a $0.99 illustrated children’s story that can be read and listened to in six languages. An interactive app, A Giant Radish allows users to drag images or text to move the story along.

A&R Entertainment has published The Princess and the Frog 1.0 for iPad. It’s an $3.99 interactive Book of the classic fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm. The story can be read aloud in any of five languages or can be read aloud by a parent.

Teamsoft has given us TeamAgenda Project for the iPad. The free app is designed to help you manage projects. TeamAgenda Project provides organizations with a tool to help them manage and keep track of multiple projects.

IK Multimedia has served up VocaLive, an iPad version of the performing and recording vocal processor previously available for the iPhone. The iPad version adds a fourth effect slot to the signal processing chain, and two of those effect slots can hold the specific “vocal effects” compared to just one vocal effect a free, expandable version is also available that allows the user to purchase the individual effects a-la-carte inside the app. Vocal Effects cost $4.99 each, and Studio Effects cost $2.99 each. The 8-Track Recorder for both the free and full versions is $14.99.

The free app allows retailers to perform real-time compliance, safety and condition assessments in the field. Fuze inspections allows real estate and facilities professionals to capture the current condition of their asset or share information with key stakeholders and gain insights through consolidated reporting.
