Korea-based Samsung has decided not to seek an injunction against the sale of Apple’s iPhone 4S in its domestic market, reports “The Chosunilbo” (http://macte.ch/7fqS9).
The new iPhone went on sale in Korea on Nov. 11. Samsung had debated until the last moment whether to file the motion after making similar applications in France, Italy, Australia, and Japan, says “The Chosunilbo.” ”We concluded that we should engage in legal battles with Apple only in the global market, but not in order to gain more market share in Korea,” A senior Samsung executive told the publication.
