XtremeMac (http://www.xtrememac.com) has announced the availability of the new Micro Folio, Thin Folio and Zip Folio for the iPad 2. The cases are US$49.99 each.
The Micro Folio is a one piece, ultra-thin folio style case that combines a structured contour solid back with a soft, micro-suede folding front. The case provides protection against scratches, dust and dirt while doubling as a multi-angle stand for the iPad 2.
Users can either fold back the cover into a writing position or choose a vertical viewing stand position. Additionally, the cover will automatically “wake” or “sleep” the Apple tablet upon opening or closing the cover. The Micro Folio is available in textured faux leather in latte, black or blue. It’s also available in cross-hair texture in black, bronze or red.
The Thin Folio is a convertible portfolio case designed for the business professional. It sports an integrated viewing stand for full coverage protection of the iPad 2. Additionally, the Thin Folio features multiple card slots with transparent ID card pocket.
Other features include a magnetic closure that automatically “wakes” or “sleeps” the iPad upon opening or closing, full access to switches, ports and jacks and multiple viewing angles. The Thin Folio is available in Black Carbon Fiber or Ostrich textures.
The Zip Folio is a zippered briefcase style portfolio case for the iPad 2. The case allows users to store daily essentials and the tablet in one. The interior frame offers a secure fit for iPad 2 and offers organization pockets for papers, pen or stylus, and business cards.
Additionally, the zippered closure on three sides keeps the iPad and paperwork secure during transport. The Zip Folio is available in a glossy crinkle finish of black, slate blue, deep plum or grey.
