Per “The MUG Event Calendar,” many Mac User Groups are actually holding meetings on Valentine’s Day in the United States this week.

“Macworld” Senior Editor Christopher Breen will present an all-day workshop to a California group, while Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus will deliver his trademark “State of the Mac Address” in Texas. MacVoices’ Chuck Joiner will report on the activities, events and products of Macworld | iWorld 2012 to a Massachusetts group, and the Kurt Schmucker from Parallels will visit an Illinois Group. Macworld | iWorld 2012 will also be the topic of discussion in California and Texas, art in iOS will be discussed in England, WordPress will be covered in Wisconsin.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
