Jason Fuerstenberg has updated Accent (http://www.jayfuerstenberg.com/accent) — a tool for translators, developers, web designers or anybody to find and copy accented characters and symbols on the Mac and iPad — to version 1.1.The update sports a new icon, localized to Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish as well as minor optimizations.
Zevrix Solutions (http://www.zevrix.com) has announced LinkOptimizer 4.7, a compatibility update to its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. The new version makes LinkOptimizer compatible with recently released InDesign and Photoshop CS6.
Reggie Ashworth has introduced AppDelete 3.2.7 (http://www.reggieashworth.com/appdelete), an update to his application deletion utility for Mac OS X. The new version is optimized for Lion and supports six new languages, among other improvements.
Fortunate Bear has acquired Pandora, an image and media search tool for Mac OS X, from Positive Spin Media. The company has rechristened the application Skyscraper, and will renew development. Fortunate Bear will support existing Pandora 2.x customers. A new version (2.7.2) is now available and free for customers who purchased Skyscraper through Positive Spin Media’s store (http://www.positivespinmedia.com).
Tension Software has rolled out Data Extractor 1.1 for Mac OS X. It’s an update of the app that allows you to extract data from files and collect them for export for later use. Version 1.1 offers an improved viewer window and better handling of old Mac and Windows file formats.
