The cases can be personalized with a variety of design choices, just like for skins. Through the Customizer tool, consumers can upload any image and create custom protective cases that fit portable consumer electronics from mobile phones to laptops.
Skinit offers the iPhone 4/4S Infinity Case, a customizable case series with interchangeable Switchplates that can be swapped out on-the-fly. It’s a two-part protective case that locks-in interchangeable Switchplates. Users can purchase Switchplates, which can be decorated with thousands of designs from the Skinit library, to express their own individual style. Users can also upload any image to the Skinit Customizer, creating a custom Switchplate from personal photographs and designs of their choosing.
Skinit will also launch a series of decorated hard plastic snap cases that support a range of portable consumer electronics from mobile phones to tablets to laptops. These cases offer device protection without impeding on the devices’ functions, buttons or overall design.
