Yesterday Apple filed (http://macte.ch/ZtZhq) its third International Trade Commission (ITC) complaint against HTC in as many years. Apple says HTC’s new devices infringe its data tapping patent. Not surprisingly, HTC disagrees.
Apple is asking the ITC for an emergency proceeding and enforcement action to prevent further infringement. The filing targets 29 devices. An HTC spokeswoman told “CNET” that the company “has completed the review process with U.S. Customs, and HTC devices have been released as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling.”
