While there are plenty of interesting topics scheduled on this week’s MUG Event Calendar, many of those agendas will get changed by the announcements from Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference.
Apple Senior Systems Engineer Dave Marra will present to a New York group, and we bet he will have something to say from Monday’s WWDC announcements.
Even without Marra, many groups are planning their meeting topics around those announcements, including groups in Florida and Oregon.
Among the many presentations set for the week ahead, some of the more interesting ones include life after MobileMe, iDisk alternatives, inexpensive 3D printers, Pixelmator, animations, photography with the iPhone, and much more.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
