Michael Winter Game has unveiled Letter Mania 1.0 for iOS. In the $0.99 word game, it’s the player’s job to form words out of differently colored letters. New letters keep falling down at an ever increasing speed. It is the player’s task to survive as long as possible and score as many points as possible.
Topten Software has debuted MiniComp for iOS. The $1.99 app lets anyone with an iOS device manage a competition between a group of friends. It works for any game or sport and could be used, for example, to track a work table tennis competition, a weekly snooker game or a family air-hockey championship.
AngryOrange Studios has premiered Glow Worm 1.0 for iOS. It’s a free sim/Arcade game that challenges the player to capture and transport bacteria scattered inside a living cell. The goal is to save as many bacteria as possible using the Glow Worm, a neutrophil-like body that captures each bacterium using a single filament. Once attached, the filaments slowly retract, while the player navigates the Glow Worm back to the safety of its spawning point with bacteria in tow.
IGG Software presents a full iPad version of iBank, the developer’s personal finance application. The $14.99 app takes complete advantage of the iPad’s capabilities, including wireless updating, Multi-Touch navigation and the power of iOS 5, according to the folks at IGG.
